Professor in the Practice of International Affairs and Concentration Chair for International Business,Master of Science in Foreign Service Program

The Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service of Georgetown University invites applications for a three-year, renewable, non-tenure-track position as a Professor in the Practice of International Affairs and Concentration Chair for International Business beginning in August 2013. This position will have teaching and administrative responsibilities in the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) Program. The Concentration Chair will have an academic background in the field of international business, broadly defined, and will teach three semester-length courses per academic year in his/her area of specialization. Ideally, the Chair will teach one section of MSFS 515, Foundations of Corporate Finance, a required course for students in the concentration. The Chair is responsible for strategic planning and development for the concentration and for assisting with the selection, recruitment, and preparation of faculty for the concentration. The Chair serves as an academic and career advisor to students in the concentration. The Chair also serves as a member of the senior academic team for the MSFS Program. The successful candidate will have a record of professional experience in international business, in the private or non-profit sector, or in public institutions involving a business, finance, or trade component.
