Registration for the first ever Georgetown European Summit, brought to you by MSFS, has begun!  This unique conference will be held at Georgetown’s beautiful Villa Le Balze in Florence, Italy from June 26-28. Space is limited to 30 participants.

Join your classmates, guests and the MSFS Georgetown community for a weekend of intimate conversations, spectacular outings, and delicious Tuscan cuisine. This conference will not only provide a great opportunity to reconnect with classmates and the University, but also to hear from experts on the most pressing issues of the day. The weekend will be filled with expert-led discussions as well as social and cultural events, including wine & olive oil tastings, dinner out in Florence, and a visit to the unforgettable Vasari Corridor. There will also be ample opportunity to take in the breathtaking Tuscan landscape from the serene Villa Le Balze gardens.

Discussion topics will include The Future of European System, led by Georgetown professor Kate McNamara. Professor McNamara is an expert on the politics of international economic relations, with a particular focus on the European Union, the Euro and the European Central Bank. The second discussion will cover The Middle East, North Africa and Beyond, with a panel of experts on the region.

Accommodation suggestions may be accessed through this link.

The registration fee covers all events at the Villa, each outing (including guides, transportation and tickets), the Thursday evening wine tasting reception and two meals per day on Friday and Saturday.
